I wanted to start off this blog with a shout out to my Uncle Glenn. When I was a kid I couldn't say "Glenn" until a certain age, so I called him "Nen." It stuck and my entire family called him "Nen," for basically his entire life. He passed away not too long ago and I was missing him and wanted to share this story for anyone who wants to read it.
We lived in L.A. until I was 11. So, when I was 8 years old Paula Abdul, released her album entitled, "Straight Up." Well, I had a huge crush on her at the time (okay still do ;) and...
my Uncle Glenn must have heard me talking about it and suprised me with it as a gift!
How lucky was I!? Well fast forward a few years and now I'm writing movies. Pretty cool right!?
And... you guessed it. Movies have a lot of music in them. Plus, that was the first cassette tape I ever owned. I played the you know what out of it!
Music has always been a huge influence on me. Hopefully I'll even write some songs too!
I'm kind of tired and this blog isn't really that long but I wanted to write something about a good memory of my uncle in his memory.
Miss and love you Nen...
