This is a show I got to see 2001-2002ish. I can't remember exactly the date but it was an amazing show. I remember my brother Andrew had just moved to Vegas in 01' and I had gone up to visit and our good friend Jerome Joubert was a dancer in the show. Jerome is one of the best dancers I've ever seen. He has since opened a studio in Las Vegas called, "Las Vegas DanceWorkz." If you're an aspiring dancer or have children who aspire to be dancers , definitely check it out if you live in the greater Las Vegas area. It would be the best decision you make to help in your or their dance career.
Anyway, EFX was the first show I got to see on the strip in Las Vegas and it was an amazing experience. Rick Springfield killed it and all the theatrics and choreography were off the hook.
I can't believe that was over 20 years ago now. Crazy how time flies. I have since seen many shows in Las Vegas but this one is definitely one of my favorites.
On a side note, I did get to check out The Comedy Cellar a few years ago at The Rio, had a great lineup featuring Rocky Dale Davis, who in my opinion is one of comedies top rising stars and I've been chomping at the bit to go to the one and only, Brad Garrett's Comedy Club at MGM. Been a huge fan of Brad's for a long time.)
I also posted a blog a few months ago about trying to catch Katy Perry's residency at Resorts World and I was happy to see that the city that never sleeps seemingly looks to be back and better then ever. I can't wait to go back up and check out another show soon. Maybe after the madness of the holidays...
